The implications of detailed scoring I've not seen anyone comment on the choice of "vital" versus "infected" portals. It's an interesting shift, since positive higher-scoring portals had previously been called volatile. The term "infected" is suggestive of another portal virus at work, which may be the result of actions by New Wave Resistance, possibly leveraging technology liberated from Visur. Recall that Devra Bogdanovich had worked on more than one iteration of a portal network virus; perhaps a more precise portal virus has been developed. A few years before Ingress I ran across Mount Mesa Sanitarium while out geocaching with my family.  There is a geocache hidden [REDACTED] of the ruins though it was described as a 'stone house'.  In the Geocache comments someone mentioned that this place was called Mount Mesa Sanitarium and that piqued my interest.  Why would you build such a place out here in the middle of nowhere miles from anything, the site lies on the northern end of LA County but is out in the desert far from the nearest town.   Internet searches turned up nothing more than coordinates and satellite photos, locals knew of the site but wouldn't talk about it, and a search through LA County records only showed that the place existed in name but had nothing more to show of it. Challenge accepted. I attempted impromptu experimentation upon a hat to determine if it had properties which could enhance the abilities of Sensitives. Results were inconclusive, due to the hat being quickly reclaimed by its owner. Perhaps more XM would be required to activate the potential artifact.

Gr33n Wra1th's comment has been haunting me ever since I read it. We really don't know what happened to Susanna Moyer and Klue after Aegis Nova. After Jahan's comment that something 'sad' (I forget the exact term), there is nothing. Did she say anything about it in Denver? I'm trying to reconstruct the circumstances of Susanna's last days (if they were her last days). Her father was found dead off Brooklyn and she took off to find out who did it. Do we have any theories as to where she went, and who, in fact killed Nigel Moyer?

This was forwarded to me by Linda Besh. It is quite fascinating. Where I differ from the researcher is that she tends to view the observation of XM colors and unusual sounds around portals as a kind of 'hallucination.' Not to be Contrarian, but I believe these phenomenon are caused by the release of XM which allows 'Sensitives' to see the true nature of the Ingression. I have had such experiences. The San Saba mines and the early events of the summer 2013. What happened? We have accounts from the only real person chronicling this, Thomas Greanias, but even those are unfinished. Thomas had plans to release a much larger novel on it but even now, it seems to remain hidden in the shadows. What did Hank Johnson discover in the San Saba mines? Somewhere out in the massive archives of our Investigation, I recall reading that he found Shaper Glyphs in the mines and that's what he had taken pics of and sent to London later in June. But is that the truth? What, in detail, happened to Antoine Smith? I have found record that proves he was subjected to Dark XM there...but exactly how? Was there another pool like the one he interacted with in the Luizi Crater? And why hasn't Hank himself talked about what...

A few thoughts on the current status of events after the last anomaly. It is not my stock and trade to comment on Anomaly results. There are others who are much more informed and better at this than I am, but I do not believe we have ever resulted in a tie before. Could this be the result of some form of a Shaper/N'zeer treaty, not unlike what appears to have happened after the destruction of the Vesuvius Magnus and their Shield? Is this call to fan out and investigate new portals part of a joint effort by these factions to spread, what I'll call XM genes around the world? Via Luxe means the 'Way of Light'. Is it leading to another way? These are fascinating times?

I'd like to pose a question for the sake of research. My memory is starting to haze over a bit and some clarity would be appreciated. The Shaper Glyphs. We know that Misty Hannah had given them to Klue S. at the Magic Castle. Klue told Carrie Campbell about them. Then Carrie began working with Hank Johnson in order to discover the connections involving Robert E. Howard during the summer of 2013. When Johnson arrived in Cross Plains, he found a massive Glyph on the ground. He then made his way towards the San Saba mines, which Howard was instructed to find by H.P Lovecraft. Jim Bowie also found the same mines before he died at the Alamo. Within the mines were the Glyphs that were in the package sent to the London Agents during TimeZero. Am I correct in this analysis? Are there things I have missed?

Another thing I've been puzzling, and there might not be a known answer, but we know that the Niantic researchers were 'simulacrized' as they did their onboarding at CERN.
