Good afternoon, Investigators of Operation Essex. My name is Mustafa Said and welcome to Today in Niantic History.  Today is April 30th, 2014. One year ago today a document made by the mysterious company behind the Niantic Shutdown was leaked.  It details the final words of Dr. Victor Kureze, who died during the Shutdown. The report states that the final words were some kind of prophecy, highlighting an emergent XM Anomaly on May 16th at Cupid's Span in San Francisco, CA. The report also states that there were 'fifteen portals' involved. The document also states that Omnivore intelligence discovered  that Susanna Moyer  would be present. The reaction to this information was simple: Another XM Anomaly was coming. Agents began to prepare with the little time they had. Meanwhile, no real motive behind the event was given. Why is that? Edgar Allan Wright I am a little worried -  we've not heard from you in a bit.  Also- with the last Klue/ADA Video and the manifesto - it seems Ada now wants mind units and fields too - well - isn;t what Devra Bogdanovich working on potential to block ALL of that?  I know it has been shown a stressed understanding (not sure that is the right word for it) between Devra and ADA - but - if Devra is working on something that could stop it all.... it is very worrisome for her.

Time for me to tilt at this windmill one last time. This was a set of questions that was put together by members of Essex shortly after the end of #13Magnus , to be presented to Roland Jarvis for him to answer in whatever fashion he saw fit. One year ago today, Felicia Hajra-Lee made the announcement that she was going to release her work, known at the time as 'An Exotic Matter', to the public.  In fact, she was planning to take it one step further.  She decided that she would ask the Niantic Community for assistance in forming the cover of the book. She launched a contest to decide who would win the honor.  This announcement was very important as it was the first time Agents and Investigators would get their hands on the mysterious story held within the pages.  Discuss and share your thoughts down below. Beat the sickness killing me the last two days. Feeling great.  Expect three Niantic History updates today! I'll be starting things off with the update from Saturday April 26th and going up to today, April 28th.  I'm so glad to be back. :)

Thank you for allowing me to enter the fold! I hope to bring my own perspective to the discussion, but will endeavor to temper it with the neutrality of the truth and the spirit of discovery. I believe that the obvious solution is rarely the whole picture.

The new video uploaded, "The rise of our kind", really supports this idea - We now know what ADA really seeks - Mind Units to use to evolve and enhance the human-AI hybrid capabilities, Just like the shapers. Another evidence to support the idea that ADA is infact just like shapers, only human made. I've been busy trying to get something from the morse code that was in the latest intel.
