So as you are aware Hubert Farlowe  has been traveling across the USA and has been doing check-ins. They seem erratic in some cases so there was an attempt to not only put them in a map but to create possible routes. Inspired by Hugo Neves questions about what really is November Lima  - here is one potential theory - please add your own I think #NL1331  started out the Ingress equivalent of Google Street View Cars/Bikes - designed to capture local regional cell data - remember the Calvin ADA discussion about wanting in to all that localized cell data.... Well imagine being able to travel and record that - add in making it a mini portal so it would attract even more players and more data - you know how we have bump technology and wifi file transmission now on phones - well how to get them in close proximity? Make it a portal and go to events ;) well - what if you had that ability and found out maybe ADA and others was trying to get it - well you cloak it as Joe mentioned in a comment so you can't be found...  you know how the NIA likes to wiretap directly into the feeds that transmit data ;) and that gets into a whole other theory of could you imagine portals being like wifi transmitters and al...

#NL1331 The search for NL1331 brought me to a picture taken by Martin and Osa Johnson on their expedition to Africa in 1924. http://safarimuseum.com/gallery/?/EXPEDITION+Africa+1924/ The image labeled NL1331 is of the Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. This hotel was built in the early 1900s and frequently used as a meeting place for Safari enthusiasts. When looking for possible connections I noticed theories that Kenya was part of Alexander the Great's Empire. There are some claims that Turkana people in north Kenya are descended from Alexander the Great. http://www.orthodoxresearchinstitute.org/articles/misc/makarios_zimbabwe_alexander_great.htm . If true, it is possible that Safari tourists may have taken artifacts from Alexander the Great 's descendents and hidden it somewhere near the Norfolk hotel.
