Today I'm going to try to tackle a much more obscure topic. More voices and thoughts will be needed for this..
The San Saba mines and the early events of the summer 2013.
What happened? We have accounts from the only real person chronicling this, Thomas Greanias, but even those are unfinished. Thomas had plans to release a much larger novel on it but even now, it seems to remain hidden in the shadows.
What did Hank Johnson discover in the San Saba mines? Somewhere out in the massive archives of our Investigation, I recall reading that he found Shaper Glyphs in the mines and that's what he had taken pics of and sent to London later in June. But is that the truth?
What, in detail, happened to Antoine Smith? I have found record that proves he was subjected to Dark XM there...but exactly how? Was there another pool like the one he interacted with in the Luizi Crater?
And why hasn't Hank himself talked about what happened? Why does such an important piece of Ingress History remain so buried?
The more answers we have, the more I can move forward with what I've been working on.

ReplyDeleteBom Mustafa Said acredito que ainda não tenho tanto conhecimento respeito da história do Ingress para tal, inclusive gostaria que tivesse mais material na minha língua ou pessoas aprofundadas com nível maior de foco na minha região para me ensinar, o Jogo é muito bacana pena que a maioria pensa que não passa disso, mas, como tenho chamado não estou propenso a desistir vou adiante com minha pouca força e quem sabe algum dia possa realmente te ajudar em diversas questões. B-)

ReplyDeleteAntoine Smith together with SE founder Jay Chen were chasing Hank a Conrad. Chen then resonates the dark XM portal and wants to test the effects of dark XM. The whole things blow up. Hank tried to stop it but with no success. Dark XM seems to have no effect on Smith. When later dark XM was tested at Hulong Catherine Fan and Mr. Hwong died while Devra Bogdanovic and Antoine Smith were not affected. Is there an antidote in normal XM in small amount to neutralize effect of dark XM but not to create an anomaly? Does Anti-Magnus know the way how to control dark XM in this way?
After the whole thing blew up, Hank and Yeats were teleported to another portal. Hank was quite silent about it since. There are many parties interested in Saba mines including Colonel Zawas, Dominium Dei society and even Congo government. Does he want to to protect himself and Yeats by not releasing too much public information about it?
Jozef Zubricky That's more or less the plot of the Alignment: Ingress which had happened in early 2013. Some details are actually in your analysis: for example, Conrad and Hank were in Africa, not San Saba. Hank was alone in San Saba.

ReplyDeleteWhat Hank found was heavy dosed with Dark XM in my opinion. We know that he sent a package with glyphs.
My question is: Is it possible that certain glyphs or maybe all glyphs contain Dark XM? Is that why NIA warned all agents using glyph hacking?
Achim S. As far as the NIA and Glyph Hacking, the NIA didn't even put that feature in. Supposedly Oliver Lynton-Wolfe did it.
