Very troubled days on all fronts, Agents. The Prime Scanner was released - probably an information leak, since as a weapon for Agents on the ground it turned out to be somewhat ... ineffective; a little short of what the boastful Dr. Oliver Lynton-Wolfe had promised. Many of the Agents have returned back to the old Scanner, or [REDACTED], for fear of losing any tactical advantage over the opponent. The fact that the application store was packed with war supplies - rather than the utilities of the old Scanner - somewhat corroborates the will expressed by Lynton-Wolfe during the Cassandra Anomaly: to become financially independent of the NIA. However, the complaints by the Agents led the NIA to act and limit the sale of arms, thus undermining the Engineer's plans. The biggest introduced innovation is the possibility of Recursion.
