  1. No it doesn't. You would probably want something like the Investigate Site or the wiki

  2. You missed some points:
    * Acceptance
    * Stability
    * Longevity

  3. Martin Zehetmayer (allthough I'd say that "Acceptance" is our least important issue... given that we're forced to migrate)

  4. Personally, I think that the features we're listing and organizing are the things that will best lead to "Acceptance." If these things are in place, moving from G+ won't hurt as much since those features are also present somewhere else.

  5. Acceptance to follow to one platform. Imo is the worst case scenario, that the Ingress Community as such splits up in various social media platforms.

  6. Mati JZ I appreciate it but we're not looking for a solution just yet.

    Currently we're analysing our needs and the current situation (maybe we'd even discover that G+ was a subpar option to begin with with far better ones available elsewhere)

  7. Martin Zehetmayer considering that essex exists to add value to ingress, we can't really divide up the community into multiple locations and act like essex is one community while expecting its members to post the same thing in multiple places so everyone has the same access to info.

    The most important thing is that niantic needs to know where essex is located so they can point agents to it since Niantic wants players invested in the game's lore. The worst thing that can happen is if essex keeps jumping from one platform to the next while Niantic adopts one we decide against using.

  8. Don't worry about Chinese agents, we all have proxy services to access Reddit, Ingress, Google or any blocked Website.
