Takachiho and Amaterasu
Takachiho and Amaterasu
Today I visited the Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki prefecture. Learning the legends of this place I feel it must qualify as an anomalous zone.
It is said that here, Amaterasu the sun goddess, hid from her brother plunging the world into darkness until she was eventually coerced out of hiding by the other gods of that era. You can walk the pathways and many steps leading up to her shrine. Today the town of Takachiho itself exists near the gorge. There are displays throughout the town that show the legend of Amaterasu and her violent kin. Another major legend tied to this place concerns her grandson, Ninigi, who is said to have descended here to begin a conquest of Japan so that he alone would remain as ruler. There is a sacred cave further up from the gorge which we were unable to enter, but is the cave where Amaterasu hid. The rock formations here are incredible and the size and extent of the place is also remarkable. There is an ingress mission which takes you from koi ponds to the gorge and waterfall. You can rent a boat which is surely worth it for the views.
So what does this mean in Magnus history? Is another nest hidden behind the sacred cave ? are there artifacts here awaiting discovery by the right person? Could very well be so.. Hank Johnson

as Mr Timmons was telling me...every legend has a kernel of truth to it....and as i was reading somewhere... according to the myths of many ancient cultures caves were seen as entrances to the underworld...but what if those myths were actually real history...as people like Erich Von Däniken say??? and before you ask yes he's not the only ... look up ancient alien astronaut theory ... you'll find plenty...even Zechariah Sitchin was saying a lot of this stuff about Nibiru aka the 12th planet and the ancient alien astronaut theory... and the Sumerian myths really happening as history...before he died...2012 if i remember right...and yes i have some of his later books..but if i remember right The 12th Planet was first published somewhere in the 1960's ....same deal with Chariots of the Gods by Erich Von Däniken first published...1968 .... or there's that Tv show Ancient Aliens on the History Channel ...i'd start at any of those...but there's plenty more if you look around...as one of my friends was saying ... Google is your friend..if it's on the internet it'll find it or someplace that knows where to find it...
