Radical creativity, irrational originality, even a dose of plain illogical craziness, instead of hard-nosed logic. A bit of Kirk instead of Spock. Could ADA do that?

  1. Isaac Asimov was remarkably prophetic about AI in the future. The Foundation series begins with a prediction of the collapse of civilization because of it's reliance on technology. The Seldon Plan, based on a kind of "big data" predictive analytic called psychohistory was intended to be a method for jump-starting the reboot of civilization. While it predicted it's own failure, it couldn't predict why it would fail. It is with the revelation of Gaia and the ancient "spacer planets" that we got a clue. The planet Aurora held the key, with a terrifying vision of symbiosis between machines and "full humans".

If you haven't read Asimov, get started today.
