H. Richard Loeb While some would have you believe that Exotic Matter isnt dangerous to us, the facts of the past 4 years reveal otherwise. XM is said to exist beyond the laws of physics. Consider just a few simple facts on what XM exposure has done to the researchers themselves:
- Nigel experimented on his own family, ignoring all ethical bounds. When asked by Susanna if he felt XM was controlling him through his actions he replied “To my great regret, yes, Susanna, I do believe that.”
- During Epiphany night, after an enormous release of exotic matter, each of the members of the team underwent a period of profound mental acceleration which unleashed their genius. Two team members Devra and Roland even vanished.
- Klue once stated “People dosed (with XM) see the future and the past”
- Amassing XM allowed Misty to physically teleport herself.
- OLW once stated “ If you start messing around with Dark XM without my help, not even your children will recognize you”
- Hank was resurrected by Dark XM as a Simulacra.
- Devra exposed the homeless, teenagers and others to XM. This drove them to violence and insanity.
- Hank stated that when exposed to living material in sufficiently high quantities, Dark XM causes immediate and irreversible physical damage. Body tissue is charred, almost fossilized. Its full effects are not understood
While XM carries with it certain risks and rewards, one thing is certain- you experiment with XM, Dark XM, and CM at your own risk, but is the reward worth the risk?

We would be animals without xm helping us to evolve. As you can realize if you read your thought more carefully what's dangerous is not XM, it is the use made by some conflictive people. XM is not either good or evil it is just useful as fire or knives.

ReplyDeleteJuan Pedro Peralta The fire helped us to evolve from animals, as well as the atom Froza that inside us from nuclear power plants. Yet, both of these wonderful things we have security protocols and signs.

With a spoon you can eat or kill a man gouging out eyes. A minimum of attention to what you are handling is a must.

ReplyDeleteWhat's needed here is a dosage and rate calculation. What does it mean to be dosed with massive amounts of xm? I'm at 111 million over the course of 642 days, according to my stats. That's about 173k mu a day. One must assume Devra was dosing much higher than that. Why is that important? A little Aspirin is good for you if you have high blood pressure. No real side effects at a low dose. Crank the dosage up to an entire bottle-- liver failure and death almost immediately. As the saying goes, "Too much of a good thing can kill you." That doesn't mean you need to abstain completely.
ReplyDeleteThat's accurate Ryan Schoon, speaking about danger when just very few people have had troubles with xm (out of the millions that use their scanners everyday) is paranoid. I bet there were more troubles due to RedBull drinking.
ReplyDeleteJuan Pedro Peralta its not the agents who are of primary concern. Its the leaders and researchers who are the most sensitive to XM and its effects that play with it regardless of consequence that are of concern. We must know of the dangers associated with XM to know what these people who play with our fates are doing.
ReplyDeleteAaron P I kindly disagree, agents out there discovered the portals, gain and use most of the XM, plan huge fields helping XM to cover the world. I don't believe we are on leaders or researchers hands. The tool is in your hands. The scanner is the key
ReplyDeleteEven though I think xm is fairly benign... "sharding" does sound like a particularly serious side-effect, especially at socially awkward moments. "Yeah, I went out with that guy but he kept sharding all over the place at dinner." Well played.
ReplyDeleteJuan Pedro Peralta I completely agree that agents are the key, if anything but the Sensitives are the gatekeepers. The technology and major events that transpire are due to their efforts. Knowing he extent of XMs capabilities can also aid us in understanding them.

ReplyDeleteThis is insane on the amount of time you think you've been being exposed to a higher dosage than normal. Over 1200 days, I've had increased exposure. Many changes have occurred and I'm an growing in a positive way. We just have to wonder and be prepared for the negatives. Not act like they won't occur.
