Hello everybody!

Hello everybody!! After reading both of the pages of 'The Summoning' manuscript by Howcraft, i came to the following conclusion.
The Visions Howcraft had, may be from a far future.
He describes a Cave or Chamber, which contains the bell 'die Glocke' and the Tecthulu. 'Mages' or 'Priests' (not mortal) wearing helmets with bright jewels that emits shafts of light were around and they were trying to start the Tecthulu. Suddenly the Chamber doors crack open with a big Klang and attacker's break through the cave door.
After playing through this scenario again and again in my mind, i came to the assumption that the Priests with the helmets could be the NWR in the future and the attacker's were the NWE.
My research about the bell 'die Glocke' brought no further evidence to the light, but there is the assumption around since decades, that the Nazis built 'die Glocke' to change the war in case of a defeat by traveling back into the past to change the future.
The actions viewed under this circumstance, could mean that the NWR, with last power tried to start Tecthulu (the machine which is necessary to operate the bell, which host ADA as the Software) to travel back in time, with ADA's help to change their defeat in the future into a victory by changing the past. The question remains who is the 'Priest', is it Nigel?

  1. Ishira Tsubasa fully agree! Oliver could fit very well, next to Nigel and maybe H. Richard Loeb he's predestined to be the priest.

  2. What is the difference between a male and female now and back two centuries ago? Or to be more precise, who would someone from that era define a woman with shot hair, trousers and maybe a t-shirt.
Oliver Lynton-Wolfe  could fit too, but do not rule out Klue, just because of the gender described. An actual women could be very easily perceived as a male because it won't fit the expectation of the viewer

  3. Very good point Ana Prados that could bring Klue S. back in the game then. But what's with this line? (if we count the priest to them)

  4. What about Ezekiel Calvin being the priest? He and Nigel worked at NIA as far as I remember.

  5. Agreed Achim S. the List of the possible 'Priests' seems to be not so short then.. Farlowe and Bowles could fit too because of their work on dark xm and the creation of ADA. But there's another interesting line in the Howcraft document:

  6. Are we sure that they were not on a factory of some kind? Or a datacenter? This could explain many things, on that text.

  7. In a dark cave with furniture not made by mankind Ana Prados? Or do you mean that the devices in there were to exotic looking for the Lovecraft of the late 19th century?
