OLIVER: Why do I feel like Devra on Epiphany Night?
ADA: There are certain similarities.
We see ADA moved OLW because someone else was coming (so who exactly attacked the compound - it seems it was not ADA or OLW) - and she agrees it may be similar to to Epiphany Night... So what threat was ADA removing Devra from - we always chase the Jarvis tail, but.... what was the motive there if it was to have her leave for a reason similar to what she did to OLW....

You have to bear in mind that ADA might have been only half-truthful with Oliver. If she was actually the instigator of the attack, she could've engineered it to motivate him to escape. She may or may not believe she's acting in his best interest; she might have decided that he was at risk staying in the compound in the long-term, but that just reasoning him into moving was going to take too long and risk losing him as an ally, so she created a crisis that would push him to act. IIRC, the attackers were seen not to be moving in the areas of OLW's housing -- they possibly were sent after the cabin containing Jarvis' body.
ReplyDeleteShe also may be playing out multiple agendas -- trying to sever the Acolyte's connection to Jarvis and weaken Jarvis' powers within the portal network, while also securing her alliance with OLW.
