Does an xm sensitive "see" portals?
Does an xm sensitive "see" portals? I'm imagining this campfire... burning coals and a flame without heat. Might that be what a portal with resonators deployed close to the center looked like to ancient eyes (some of us call deploying resonators too close to center "campfiring" the portal even now). Then this Cybella, perhaps like others we have heard of, was able to transport through the network to the Vesuvius site. Might this be how the xm is travelling in the current drought? Do we know anyone, disembodied, that might be able to pass through the network? Ada? Jarvis perhaps? Is that what the Acolyte is really up to? Finding a way to release him?
That is a good interpretation. A very powerful sensitive might indeed see what our scanner simulates.
ReplyDeleteProbably Jarvis for sure, will be interesting to see how this effects him.....we need clues
ReplyDeleteTwo words. Misty Hannah.
ReplyDeleteHer XM teleportation never stopped being a thing.
So if Jarvis is in some sort of xm prison within the network (which is what I've gathered), this drought either depletes that prison or clears out all the noise so it can be discovered. If you want to clear a lane, you divert the traffic first, then attack the obstruction.
ReplyDeleteMoved this to fan fiction until some proof can be given of its source. Please be more clear about your sources, or point out that this is fan-made.
ReplyDeleteI see a sensitive as someone who looks at a statue or piece of art and just "knows it is special". This would be similar to how you may roll into a town you've never been in and you just "know" when you look at something that HAS to be a portal before actually confirming on the scanner.
ReplyDeleteJ.J. Ramirez The document was recovered from goruck teams I believe. I didn't create it, that's for sure. Let me hunt down the link.

ReplyDeleteRyan Schoon Just found a related post pointing that out. Changed this back to discussion. Thanks for the response as well.
ReplyDeleteJ.J. Ramirez Not a problem. I'm a writing teacher-- got to cite those sources. Here is the post I pulled from: https://plus.google.com/+DavidJeffers/posts/XGK5VjWCQ6w
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting idea. I like the idea of Obsidius seeing the Scanner visuals in his mind's eye. As for traveling through portals, Misty Hannah for sure and perhaps Hubert Farlowe. As the poll on his abilities shows, there is a considerable diversity of opinion on what he can do.
