One Of The Artifacts With Glyphs From The Box
FYI, there are actually a couple ways to read this post's title...
Operation Essex Edgar Allan Wright Hank Johnson H. Richard Loeb Linda B Andrew Krug
Wow that's interesting.... I wonder what that one means
ReplyDeleteIshira Tsubasa I believe that's the glyph for N'Zeer... rather ominous.
ReplyDeleteCarlyle Edmundson I've never seen that one before. I'm still very new to Essex and figuring out the storylines and such.
ReplyDeleteAw! Thank you Matt Stevenson This will be useful
ReplyDeleteYes, that is definitely the N'Zeer glyph.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone identified the material used to tie the arrowheads together? Definitely looks like a natural fiber... Jute? Sisal? (Possibly knowing what it is might shed light on where it came from.)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very old piece of sisal
ReplyDeleteAre there any pictures of the knots used?
ReplyDeleteWhen first looking at it, I expected the orientation of the arrowhead to be tip-down. That would make this a new glyph ("strong", with the lower three sections of "destroy"). But if this is supposed to be the "N'Zeer" glyph, then perhaps the glyphs show the proper orientation of the arrowheads. That would allow them to be placed in a circle like the Obsidian logo... and perhaps create a message with that proper order.
ReplyDeleteCould mean that the arrowhead in BigMatty's release #2 pictures is "attack/war" or "defend" rather than a new glyph.
Definitely sisal
ReplyDeleteIf it is sisal, that would make it American in origin. Agave sisalana is native to Central America, and would not have been available anywhere else in ancient times. So perhaps Obsidius visited the Americas, and returned to Eurasia carrying these?
ReplyDeleteTogether Abandon N'Zeer?
