I don't know if this have been posted before, but after reading #IngressOrigins I realized there were some weird things.
First of all, I saw a creepy smiling man's face behind Devra on the cover of the comic. I don't know who is him.
Second, I realized there were some encrypted codes (using braile, morse and barcodes), but I think they've been decrypted already.
And the most interesting thing I found were some links who lead to Niantic's files (I don't know if they have been published before since I'm just getting started on getting on the backstory of Ingress). Here is the list ordered by page:

All those link where the first time that the some of the event related on the comic were leaked to the public. If you notice, most of them go to the discussion that were held at that point about those events.

Isn't the face behind Devra on the cover Jarvis? I thought that was an image drawn from the Epiphany Night event where a face was seen in the portal. And I always took that face to be Jarvis as he existed just after having been assassinated and absorbed into the portal network. He was transposed somewhat backwards in time, or possibly it was exposure to the events of epiphany night that let him be absorbed in the first place. (We definitely know that connections between portals don't always follow the standard relativistic space-time curvature rules that prevent transmission of information backwards in time.)
ReplyDeleteOn the Cover it could be Calvin. In the Comic Jarvis has no beard. The face on the Cover does have one, if my old eyes catch it right.

I also think it is Calvin. I don't trust him because his intentions are not clear.
