ReplyDeleteWhat do you make of Hank Johnson's assertion that he was endowed with the memories of past 13Magnus leaders at the culmination of the Shonin anomaly? Does your Anti-Magnus movement have a similar direct source of historical knowledge, or does your library represent its primary source for understanding past events?

ReplyDeleteGiven that the founding principle of the Resistance was charting a future that humanity chooses, not one laid out for it by outside forces -- using blue fields to block out the Shapers' background "dial tone" XM signal, protecting people from being nudged toward taking actions the Shapers prefer -- do you intend to share any N'Zeer or Shaper technologies you may discover with a broad community of human scientists and entrepreneurs, or at least with democratic governments that can work to determine whether these technologies can be safely exploited? (To be fair, I would not have wanted nuclear technology shared openly in 1945, so I can understand some level of secrecy.)
ReplyDeleteIf you are not laying out a clear path to follow, toward using these tools to advance the human race broadly, as opposed to some personal agenda, then why should Resistance agents even consider you "one of us", let alone one of our leaders?
Had you ever had an emotional interest on Hank Johnson? From my point of view you still looking confused about it.
ReplyDeleteevil witch That sounds like a question somebody could stand to ask Hank Johnson as well. From what we know, it appears that Jahan originally approached Hank with an agenda, and somewhat seduced him -- he appeared to have feelings for her. But I have the impression that she developed some for him as well -- at the very least, a healthy respect for his intellect and his XM-sensitive skills.
ReplyDeleteDoes she know the current whereabouts of ADA, Jarvis, Ezekiel Calvin, and/or Klue? Also, how/why is she able to be considered the "Leader," of the Resistance now? Has ADA accepted Jahan as her own?
