Kalash of Cultures - Pakistan: http://youtu.be/qEXnEfdvv6s The argument: 1. Watch the video; this Dardic mountain tribe plays polo. They fiercely fought for their independence through the ages, till the British arrived; at which point they adopted some British customs like playing polo on weekends (although they claim they invented the game first). 2. The Kalasha have lived in geographic isolation for so long that their DNA has diverged. But, there are markers to suggest that they come from around the Mediterranean(that is, that they are Dardic). There are 2 theories as to how they got there: a. They were travellers along the silk route who decided to settle in a scenic location and sell spices, apricots and cherries (the latter two do not grow in the subcontinent, only in the Mediterranean; and with no contact with the outside world for centuries, there's no other way they could've gotten these fruits) b. They are descendants of Alexander the Great 's armies; who ref...
I was pondering this question as well. Any evidence out there that connects Yuri or Misty to these cities, or general areas? (Besides Misty's connection to marfa, TX)
ReplyDeleteThere is this - http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/pac/IB/04/item/3anomalies.html -
ReplyDeleteAnd she showed up there after escaping as well - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByveE2b4jJI
Remember that Houston was not originally the location for flash shards.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Boston might have been a study site for Wydah or a predecessor project? Or planning for Warratah?
ReplyDeleteOf course, Misty's TX sites were Austin and Marfa, so it's possible that Yuri has some other ties to Houston and Misty to Boston.
ReplyDeleteIs Klue S. tied to Boston? Did we ever find out how she is?
ReplyDeleteYeah, the Misty - Houston connection is not difficult to make. Yuri - Boston is puzzling to me. But maybe there doesn't need to be a connection to the past, perhaps a connection to the future will be made. Or perhaps previous significant XM events in Boston has made it a natural place where XM objects like the shards may drift to.
ReplyDeleteBoston is known for having the first library in the United States, and has a well known museum of science. Might be related to Yuri's love of academia. Several well known colleges aren't too far either.
ReplyDeleteBut I have a feeling it has something to do with Project Whydah. What do we know about Project Whydah?
I'd expect Oliver Lynton-Wolfe to pop up at one of the sites (either as shards or in person) and, after Hank Johnson mentioning Carrie Campbell in one of his recent posts, I wouldn't be surprised if she reappeared. The circumstances of her death never quite got cleared up and she could've had her consciousness uploaded after exposure to that glyph sequence.
ReplyDeleteThere is a "Whydah" galley that capsized off cape cod in 1717 and was later embroiled in a Boston court battle... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whydah_Gally
ReplyDeleteThat Galley was apparently named for an African slave-trading Kingdom... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Whydah
ReplyDeleteThere's also a Whydah bird that lays it's eggs in another's nest (similar to a cuckoo). Maybe a reference to infiltrating other organisations?
