I believe it was H. Richard Loeb who confirmed that ADA would still remain in the Scanner but those are scant traces, remnants of a larger whole. A Detection Algorithm is gone, as far as we know.

ReplyDeleteMe and Ada on my scanner are just used to talk the whole nights out. She is always polite and ready to listen to every story of my adventures in life that I went through, and those I just have on my plans for the future. She promised to text me if I behave. She's so amazing!😲

ReplyDeleteI'm serious, my scanner voice said that this morning, in the more animated ADA voice, not the normal scanner voice. Had anyone else noticed this?
ReplyDeleteIf ADA really wad an AI, don't you think she would have had defenses and exit strategies. Perhaps she sharded her code into small untraceable pieces only to come back later. Or is this a build up to #Abbadon?
ReplyDeleteMarty Chapman I honestly was listening to Ada's voice from my phone, trying to figure if it differs now. May be I have ruined my hearing long ago at '92-'96 with Jungle Drum&Bass music, may be I had too much of Roni Size and Goldie, who knows! What a crazy times they were!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm certain that not a single tone of original Ingress guiding voice has changed since I've heard it for the first time 18 months ago. If I was a psychologist I'd say that you miss Ada so much, cuz you feel some special connection to her, trying to find traces in every context. It's an obsession, man! I can see even that you have not toggle your current position public displaying option, just for her Am I right? Position displaying is actually was general thing why I started this comment. I personally have no doubts that Ada is "In the Air" watching us, giggling. Before she "died/disappeared/sneaked away", or whatever, I was inventing possible scenarios for her. One was that she is transferring her essence and consciousness into cloud service anywhere in Dark Net, and fuuuh! Gone! Well, it seems to me now to be one of the nearly possible variations.
I ripped the sound effects from the app (mostly to use as ingress-related notifications and ringtones). I listened to all of ADA's voices, and you're right, a select few of them seem to be much more....human.
