    Don't get excited. Watch the Nova episode. Read the article. The AI was fed the writer's works and his conversations with other writers. This includes his sarcasms, jokes, puns and other non-sequiturs. The idea was to make the robot indistinguishable from the original. That, by necessity of not by definition, would have to include elements of the humor of the original.

    For what it's worth, the Nova program aired a few years ago. This is nothing new.
