The Blame Game

Will AI systems really be like Isaac Asimov’s Bicentennial Man – obedient to the law, with a moral conscience and a hefty bank balance?

Maybe not.   #AI   #Skynet

  1. Wait a sec. We're trying to build/develop an intelligent, probably sentient being musing on what we have to do to make it permanently our slave and to impede it ever becoming our equal or our master?

Don't you see the selfish wrongness in the idea? And how can you ever believe it won't backfire?

  3. Sarah Rosen For good reason. We need them.

  4. Wouldn't it be better if we asked them to work with us? No reason to be on bad terms by default. We project our logic on an inteligent species that mustn't share our same fears nor our destroyfull preemptive selfish nature. We seemingly can't imagine an intelligence that is not ours. Preposterous.
