Hidden in plain sight:
1.)    I'm sure no one missed that Stein Lightman's shards are red.
2.)    I'm equally sure no one missed that the Janus figure is running a bit of a ying/yong effect with the eyes and face.
3.)   Has any one remarked on the colors of the Janus figure for Persepolis?     The colors seem to be teal (blue/green) and orange (red/yellow).
(Please inform me if I missed the initial discussion)

  1. I have definitely taken notice of those sometimes overlooked, subtle tho meaningful observations. It reminds me of the video clip with Devra talking and showing her cohort how the portal decay virus slowly affected the portals with a red tinge during decay

  2. There have been mentions of the color but none in detail that I've seen. The opposition of teal and red/orange in the logo is particularly interesting to me. Humanity (combined res and enl) against an outer force, symbolized by the red?

  3. Wouldn't that be a mind fuck? "Surprise! RES and ENL are teammates now!"

  4. I've kind of been expecting a npc foe to unite us...

  5. Enl and Res have been "teammates" before.   When our combined MU count was to do things like pull Misty Hannah the Magician through the portals to get her out of Niantic, and to overcome Devra's Virus (garseeya 512 noted red tinge) [who was hired from the beginning to develop].  There was at least one other instance, but it slips my mind.

  6. i would caution against being teammates with the other faction. Neither faction holds true enough reason warranting teaming up to defeat or prevent an invasion of a 3rd faction. Resistance do not have a single governing body. The Enlightened by all accounts, do. This fundamental difference is at the heart of our divisiveness.

  7. Only some follow Jarvis.   Others find his devotion to blind faith counter to creative thinking.
The main times in the past that the blue and green have teamed up is to counter something that Niantic set up.  Even then it was "teal or no deal",  and only grudgingly done.   I do expect that Ingress will periodically repeat the exercise, as they are still collecting data from the grand social experiment.

  8. Hence #FS events. I have been glyph hacking more last month than I ever have before not because of my translator medal the because of several interesting new glyph sequences that I see

  9. garseeya 512 I'm sure you've noticed that the glyph sequences are phrases...what interesting sequences have you been seeing lately?
