In terms of the Opus, let me relate a true story. It was a cold winter night and I was home alone reading the Connection of Opposites by Jung.

I was slightly on edge that some synchronicity was about to happen. Then the the old oil furnace which had by then every part replaced, came on ran for a second and quit. Go downstairs do the usual things, nothing.
So I call the dealer with the service contract and oddly there is someone in my neighborhood at that moment, and he comes right over. I had by then learned a bit about how these furnaces worked and the connection to the steps.
So I asked while thinking about the shadow, "Is it the igniting rods? No spark? Fuel filter blocked?"
"No" he says, "Let me show you"
He pulls out the two rods, separates them in the air a few feet and crack, the largest electrical arc I have ever seen, one that could kill you, appears.
So what is it I ask. If everything else is working. Why is it shutting down?
Because it doesn't know it's running, and if continued to pump oil, the oil could explode. It's the electric eye that's not detecting the flame.
Balance restored, the path up and the path down are the same.
You have to love a god who's main weapon is an umbrella. 😄
