So, what now?

I'm serious. Let's go through the rundown here. Hank seems to be stuck in a latter-day lotus-eater trap, Resistance is colluding with aliens, and Jarvis is going to be dead (again). ADA wants to become...more human, I guess? All that evolution talk ended quickly.

And Anti-Magnus got what it wanted. I guess my internal compass is broken now. Does anyone have any kind of clarity for me? Where do we go from here? Before, modulating the anomalies made sense to me. Resistance modulations prevent mindhacking, and sometimes by helping out ADA, or Oliver.  Enlightened expand the "natural" sphere of Shaper influence, in turn helping XM beings like Hank.  But having N'zeer floating around screws with the whole equation. What is Resistance if they are the foot soldiers of Aliens? And what is Enlightened if we bitterly fight the exposure of the truth?

    I'm also very unsure of the direction that the resistance is headed, I would have thought they might be aligned with Devra in derailing the portal network, but there might be to much to fight through in corporate backing at this stage.  It really seems like a case of the enemy of my enemy is my ally.

    I think that the initial stance of being wary of extraplanar beings was well founded, and some of us were much more receptive to the quasi-proven effects of exposure and wanted to see more of it.  Either we were mistaken about the shapers and the N'zeer were the ones we wanted to welcome to begin with and couldn't tell the difference, or the resistance is opening an much worse can of worms than no one doing anything before we discovered portals.

    I'd like to find out which route is the one we want to take, but this throws up a lot of questions without answers, and a lot of action without information... Unreasonable haste is the direct road to error.

so, general question... we know that ADA passed the "turing test", we also have many studies showing how the turing test can actually be gamed by very complex programming and in fact you can write programs to create the allusion of AI for many (the chinese room thought experiment).  At what point are we certain that she began acting on her own and has not been following a program and orders by someone else.  Are we certain that those orders that she delivered for Jarvis and others and even the Katalena pre Zurich encounters, were not done on the orders of some programming.  NOt to call ADA a gun, but how certain are we she is not?  How can we prove, beyond doubt, that she is truly a separate entity working on her own and not some other programming?
