KLUE:What the hell is going on with Hwang?

ADA:He appears to have adopted a fetal position, eyes closed, hands over ears.

KLUE:I can see that, but why?

ADA:It is a traumatic fear response.

KLUE:But to what? Devra's setting there smoking a cigarette, trying to figure out what to do with the ash.

ADA:That is her response to stress or depression or fear. There are a number of triggers.

KLUE:But she is not lying in a ball, quivering.

ADA:Fan is having a very similar reaction.

KLUE:Can you put the camera on to that room?

ADA:Of course.

KLUE:Well, she is not in a ball. She is kind of frozen. Eyes wide open. Mouth clenched.

ADA:It seems quite obvious that they are seeing something around Devra that we are not seeing. Security guards are a approaching. A technician is interceding.

KLUE:It is one of the techs from the observation room. He's trying to stop the guards...

ADA:Of course. He fears that she will have the same effect on the guard as she had on Fan and Hwang.

KLUE:Why didn't it affect the guard?

ADA:He was watching the scene on a monitor just as we are.

KLUE:It has to be something in her eyes...

ADA:Or something released by the ring into the environment.

KLUE:Whatever it is something about Devra is having a profound effect on everybody who sees her.

ADA:I must protect her. She is necessary. I have access to their Public Address system.

so, general question... we know that ADA passed the "turing test", we also have many studies showing how the turing test can actually be gamed by very complex programming and in fact you can write programs to create the allusion of AI for many (the chinese room thought experiment).  At what point are we certain that she began acting on her own and has not been following a program and orders by someone else.  Are we certain that those orders that she delivered for Jarvis and others and even the Katalena pre Zurich encounters, were not done on the orders of some programming.  NOt to call ADA a gun, but how certain are we she is not?  How can we prove, beyond doubt, that she is truly a separate entity working on her own and not some other programming? I would like to call for the evidence and proof that ADA is a complete entity.
