Good to know what ADA thinks of us...
ReplyDeleteIan Friedrich Jarvis enlightenment plans are actually deprecating people as they are too. Come to think about it people are "deprecating" each other through the whole of history too...
ReplyDeleteNot disagreeing on either point, but ADA did just declare the entire human race to be "deprecated".
ReplyDeleteNot disagreeing too but IMHO we still do not understand what it actually means.
ReplyDeleteIt seemed pretty clear to me; it means we're obsolete. We need to be upgraded; forcibly evolved. The same thing everyone was upset about Jarvis wanting to do. She even went so far as to say that loss of individuality was an acceptably small price for this evolution.
ReplyDeleteIan Friedrich the loss of individuality seemed to me to be less of a cost and more part of the designed outcome.
