Good afternoon, Investigators of Operation Essex. My name is Mustafa Said and welcome to Today in Niantic History.

Good afternoon, Investigators of Operation Essex. My name is Mustafa Said and welcome to Today in Niantic History.

Today is May 5th, 2014. One year ago today, a document surface onto the Niantic Project Investigator Board. This document seems to be a notice letter to Hank Johnson from a group calling themselves Visur Media Group.

In the letter, an individual named Aldona Zyndonas who is the Director of Communication states that Johnson's idea is an intriguing one and offers him a chance to work with him in potentially making the NOMAD series a real thing.....

I'm going to assume that Visur Technology would know a lot about Visur media group.

Discuss and share your thoughts down below.

Keep on searching for the truth, Investigators.

  1. As I recall this overture was Visur's offer of employment to Hank.  This would have been the business cover to back up Devra's invitation to work for Pevtsov with payment.  When Hank later declined due to his refusal to trust Pevtsov's good  intentions the offer from Visur Media was rescinded.

  2. Just teasing because you always introduce yourself.  :)

  3. Daniel Beaudoin OH! Now i get it XD
The reason I do that is because I don't always know who reads these. So I always re introduce myself because for someone it might be their first time reading this stuff and an introduction helps. :)

  4. Of course!  It's like your catch phrase!
I just always wanted to make fun over that, haha.  Now I can mark that off of my bucket list.  ;)  Carry on!  Carry on!

  5. Daniel Beaudoin You know, I've got a ton of catchphrases.

For a brief moment of nostalgia, try to finish this sentence.

Good afternoon, fellow Ingress Agents. My name is Mustafa and this is____________.

  6. Nomad...I never understood why the NIA let Hank Johnson continue that project. Hank had continuously strived to reveal the truth of XM, (see Calvin's review of a script of NOMAD). It really is puzzling.

  7. NOMAD had been Hank's meal ticket and cover story for a long time.  It got him into locations that would have otherwise been closed to a US operative.  The novel describes how he intentionally set up fake looking sets specifically to get most viewers to dismiss the presentation as late-night drivel.  You had to know what you were looking for to find nuggets of truth in the show.

As I recall the production company was called GreenFlash.  The pilot episode was coproduced with IQTech money (thus a place in the opening credits), hence Calvin's approval rights over the script.
