Edgar Allan Wright stopped in the Essex chat today and posed a couple of questions - what do you think?

1.   I need your help.  Do we suppose that there is a threat to Devra in Zagreb?  I was there with her once. What did she do there?

2. What do we suppose the relationship between a simulacrum and a mummy is?

3. What do we suppose the relationship between Hanks body and his simulacrum is?  I mean, if the body is destroyed, what happens?

Add your thoughts and comments below - I do know the one major question I have is Edgar Allan Wright why were you in Zagreb with Devra?

Comments

  1. regarding Devra

In Felicia Hajra-Lee book, The Niantic Project: INgress, when she leaves Niantic, Zagreb is the first place she goes.  She contacts Dr. Christie Novosel, a chemical engineer who teaches at the UNiversity of Zagreb. 855 has information that he and Devra worked together on a project in th 90s

was this the project Edgar Allan Wright and Devra worked on?  There was reference to a DIAMON(D) project Devra had worked on - was that related?

An interesting side note - When Devra is using Christie's computer, a chat program window opens and the person identifies as Katalena.  Later it seems this is ADA - but the questions is, Did Christie know Katalina?  Could that be a missing link - Was ADA cleaning up someone important to Christie who would then in turn help Devra?

855 might be a candidate - but he did stop (I still wonder who sent the order for him not to kill her) - but he seemed to be more concerned with finding ADA - now if he thinks Devra can get him to ADA????

Ilya could decide to do something, he might not be so happy she left Visur.

Would Lorazon be interested in doing something?

And as a last little out of left field, she did have a little matching of Egos with David and Mika on the train, who knows who could harbor feelings....

  2. Yik Sheng Lee not sure - a couple things spring to mind

    1. Christie was there and she may be going back to talk to him or others

2/ There is mention that Calvin did tests with a drug company - in other discussions this company had come up and the fact Zagreb and nearby host a lot of drug research... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pliva

  3. Only thing I have is that a mummy seems to have more of a relationship with that body in the cave than the simulacrum.  It, like Hank's cave body, must be waiting to be connected with its spirit once more.

  4. JoJo Stratton Wasnt Zagreb where Devra first went to start getting recruits for an anti xm campaign? From Zagreb, Why do i keep thinking Paris on one hand and then doubt myself cus she met Ilya? Maybe it was just Hubert in Paris. I know he was there. But something to do with Devra in Paris, cus thats where Felicia said the ideas came to her. So something happened there.

As far as the Simulacrum and a mummy, They are both damned to walk the earth until a curse is broken. It seems the body of a Simulacrum, "The active body" as we see it, would regenerate under any tissue damage. Given that thought we have seen this happen with Jarvis, Hubert, and now we just saw hank get stabbed in the hand. He is obviously alive and physically well, i cant say much for the mental part.

  5. Lukas Lentz  Felicia Hajra-Lee had her revelation and wrote much of the book in France (have to look up the exact place) - not sure we ever found out why, hmmmm

  6. ok Edgar Allan Wright  (and others) - a little clarification and word definition is needed ;)

is a mummy a preserved body through ritual and a simulacrum a walking representation of that body? If so, then the body we saw in the Wahid Mazhar video is a mummy and the Hank we see walking around is a simulacrum
