The question is, just what happens when XM, which exists outside the context of time, carries information from the future to the past, information that then affects the sequence of events that create that future? Has causality sawtoothed back on itself several times over the past year, to lead us to the timeline we're currently experiencing right now? Is it still happening?

So far, observing the events, nothing changed against "the vision of future" (when there exists any)...From the POV of that time traveling XM, it is an infinite loop
ReplyDeleteAs a companion to this, I recommend some of the episodes from the "Through the Wormhole" series. They tackle time and time travel specifically in a few episodes. The have a piece on sending messages to and from the future/past
ReplyDeleteanother thought - not time travel but dimension leak... meaning the events from another dimension leaked to ours, a parallel dimension that may have similar events BUT at a different time point than ours. So not true time travel from our point of reference.... I have been thinking of multiple dimension leak as a potential explanation for some of what we see as time anomalies (like Devra's phone and the 84-94 Arecibo dates). flint dille

ReplyDeleteWhat if extra-dimensional humans viewed us as a risk like Resistance does the Shapers? With so little information, there's little we can rule out.
Jim Lai thats what i am getting at. What if the shapers are almost a perfect mirror image of ourselves. Slightly different. They feel we are shapers. The unknown on what our intensions are scares them as much as it scares us that we dont know their intensions.
