Where do they go when they are out of sight.

Where do they go when they are out of sight.  Persistence of vision.  Constant partial attention. Jarvis. Lynton-Wolfe.  Right there in front of us. Now gone.  To where. If they are not amongst us, do they still exist.  They remain frozen in a time and a place even though the time has passed and the place is far away.  Peek-a-boo.  Is object permanence an illusion?  See what is missing.  Leap the synapses.

  4. Alas, our theories are based on glimpsed moments of the past while the subjects are constantly in motion.

  5. Considering OLW seems to always be wearing the same thing, your question has merit. However...

I don't think object permanence is an illusion, studies show very very young babies have a sense of it. As my Psychologist friend says, "It's not that they think Mr. Potatohead stops existing when you cover him up. They stop looking at that spot because, "If you can't see Mr. Potatohead... Who the hell cares?"

The difference here is, OLW and Jarvis have been obscured from my sight, I care very much what is going on with them, and I can't just cry and point until the researcher pulls the cover off.

  6. I have been wondering where Jarvis and OLW went after the culmination of 13magnus in SF.

To my knowledge OLW had cut all ties with IQ Tech and then Hulong, and after his interviews with Susanna Moyer I doubt he would ever get support from her and presumably the NIA as well.

As for Roland Jarvis, he has been "dead" for around a year, he has a lot of support from the enlightened, but to my knowledge no support from the actual corporations, in fact ADA and the NIA killed him originally.

So where have these two gone, presuming they went together that is?

  7. Object permanence is truly an illusion. All objects are capable of existing at any given point or time, but not both. If time is truly the fourth point on the grid. And then it is even possible there are mirrors of the grid. Alternate dimensions connected by the timeline, or alternate timelines connected by the location? What's to say there isn't a way of controlling these extra grids? We have only been viewing this world in three dimensions. But if the shapers are trans dimensional wouldn't they have access to all timelines and possible locations at once?

  8. ”Dare to be Wise"
Immanuel Kant, said when Answering the Question: What is Enlightenment?

Is this what Jarvis meant when he said it was the Age Of Enlightment?

In that vain of Thinking can we trust this version of Jarvis and his new puppet? OLW, and any possible cohorts?

I wonder if Immanual Kant's thoughts on Transcendental Idealism might spark a little Enlightenment in others here.
