Thoughts of Die Glock and Hank Johnson lead me to consider the concept of the "super soldier" and how Dr. Lynton-Wolfe described Hank as "enhanced" by dark xm. Then I remembered that the Nazi's used the term "Übermensch" to describe their idea of the "master race" of humans.

Following this, I ended up with this Nietzsche fellow and one of his works, the central theme of which (eternal recurrence) was inspired by the presence of a specifically-mentioned pyramidal block of stone in Switzerland.

On Jarvis' appearance, he speaks of his "time lost, time lived if you can call it that" in the void and seems joyous over the simple act of breathing in the air and meeting the people around him. This would seem to relate to the idea that the Übermensch is motivated by a love for life and the earth, as opposed to a struggle for escape.

  1. This may be the case, and I am afraid if there is an übermensch then it normally will bring about the üntermensch for the non - enhanced. Unless we ar allowed to evolve at the same pace thos division is going to occur whether in reality or just in perception.
