Nikolas Moore isn't Magnus aligned fan boy?
ReplyDeletePaul Pawlowski That's why I pointed out that the details are valid. This particular document contains truth, despite the unorthodox source.
ReplyDeleteJose Ramirez true but I had written him off as not worth following
ReplyDeletePaul Pawlowski I don't follow as well, but I check what I see with these things. Every once in a while it's worth it.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure this Magnus fellow is just someone who's well connected running an alternate account for attention.
ReplyDelete[E] A poorly-executed Dougley, in other words.
True
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the execution is pretty good this time though. There's even a coffee stain on the doc. ;-)
ReplyDeleteDavid Timothy Paul Pawlowski Daniel Benton
ReplyDeleteAs far as I can tell, everything about this document checks out.
Anthony Castanza we are not ?ing the doc we are questioning the source. Trying to figure out if they are a fan boy/girl or someone to pay attention to.
ReplyDeletePaul Pawlowski Ah, yeah, I think we concluded at the time of the Resistance glyph document that MA was a well connected fan account. Looks like I'm upgrading it to scary well connected.
ReplyDeleteAnthony Castanza - aka Nikolas Moore status?
ReplyDeletePaul Pawlowski Last I heard even Nik didn't have all five cities.
ReplyDeletePaul Pawlowski They're a fan trying to twist the storyline to their end. Last time they tried to pull the "look, I'm legit, because I have information that I shouldn't. If you don't do what I want, I'll release it" and then it got released, making them look the fool.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they're trying to get their credibility back, before pulling that stunt again.
btw, they're just dec -> ascii lat/lng coord pairs.
ReplyDeleteDaniel BentonWait but wasn't that info mostly correct?
ReplyDeleteLoose ends or not They are worth some attention if they can provide information that can be used.
ReplyDeleteI had Followed this awhile back. Real or not, a usable source is better than no source at all.
Melissa L. Some was, some wasn't. What they released last time was something they extracted from a screen grab of the ingress report + something they had (presumably) gotten a quick glance at (hence the hand-drawn in details).
ReplyDeleteThat kinda points the finger at someone in LA (Enlightened, specifically), honestly.
Lou Kohn The problem comes when they try to subvert the storyline for their own gains (aka "pulling a Dougley"). IMO, Niantic was too generous letting the London E pull that crap, and encouraged further imitators.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Benton people keep repeating that line about it being an Ingress report screen grab, but I watched that ingress report over and over and that simply wasn't there.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I can see no one is subverting the storyline, just a (all be it strange) release of valid intel.
Daniel Benton but there's video in each of the Ingress Reports of the characters handing players packets of information. I would think what the players do with it is up to them. I would think regardless, we need any information to help the investigation
ReplyDeleteDaniel Benton This is very true, I have come and saw many of these, but at the same time as many prove to be as you say. Some could be trying to simply blend in the background until they drop information that can be vital. Sometimes information like this can be dropped from a most questionable source.
ReplyDeleteIt can be troublesome at times, but its all about chance. If they are genuine or at least useful in some way I will focus in on more. If not then my attention is drawn away from them.
Hell in the beginning a lot of Agents had a hard time trying to figure out if Verum Inveniri was Genuine or not considering how they worked themselves into the story back in the early days. We know better now however.
I am not saying we should all spend our mass attention and resources on possible accounts that can be genuine or not. I have an eye on any possible outlet of information. But once things start adding up to be in their favor and not the favor of the truth, that is when I tune my attention out.
Actually this is the first fact I have seen so far about the locations other than the hints that 5 shards should appear on Wednesday and that cryptic message from Nikolas Moore about Belcher Bay/well known cities hinting at similar targets.
ReplyDeleteIs this the seed for the next recruitment test?
ReplyDeleteWelp, figured out who it is. I won't reveal it here, though.
ReplyDeleteIn retrospect, it was kind of obvious.
Daniel Benton On a scale of one to ten, how obvious?
ReplyDeleteMustafa Said if 1 is "not obvious at all"... About a 7.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Benton Any names you got to share? I'd love to know. I don't have any suspects myself.....yet
ReplyDeleteI'm not too worried about it. I more worried about keeping track of the shards. We need to keep an eye on who's controlling them
ReplyDeleteMustafa Said I'd rather not share it, no. They might get angry if I spoil their fun.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, watched Berlin all day, now Shard #2 appeared at the Brandenburg Gate.
