You may remember that early in the investigation, Klue retold the myth of Cupid and Psyche. She asked the question of why Roland Jarvis might have appeared at Cupid's Span, out of the millions of portals throughout the world.
Time to brush up on Mythology 101, my fellow scholars.

Looks like I need to write up a few more lesson plans for Mythology 101.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like Klue's portrayal of that story was incomplete and slanted. Though Cupid was sent to use his arrow to force Psyche to love a hideous monster, he refused and pricked himself instead, making himself to fall in love with Psyche.
ReplyDeleteAlso, in the artist's statement regarding this portal, he mentions that this arrow has struck the Earth as Cupid's arrow would, bestowing upon it love and fertility.
It appears more clear why Roland Jarvis would use this portal to make himself manifest.
