I find it interesting that the covert research group code-named the Juice Club had a cover story early that was called the A Smoothie, and all of these years later, a similarly named drink is for sale at Jamba Juice.  I have wondered if there is a connection.  It would be interesting to know if any players have ever asked about this.

I am wondering what other covert artifacts have emerged in the public consciousness.

  1. I have noticed the similarity only in passing on the intel map. The Jamba Juice chain appears as portals as well.

I know it's not bizarre for a local business to become a portal, but the connection demands more digging.

  3. Seems to be there has been a history of corporation "cover" in XM studies. I always found it a little odd at how quickly places like Visur, Hulong, et. al. came into existence.

Makes me feel like they've been there the whole time, behind the scenes, pulling the strings...

  4. One possible covert artifact we might consider is the "old ship niantic" ? Its a portal here in san Francisco.
Funny after seeing JoJo Stratton word of the day post I checked out H. Richard Loeb profile, low and behold his background photo is a red sketch of a old ship, and looks like their might be some lettering obscured in the spattering.

    BTW I'm new here,
Hi all Essexians :-) glad to be here !
So I'm not sure if or who I might + mention that has the expertise in dissecting theses photo clues.

  5. Rory Durkin HINT Water has/had passcodes inside the cap of the non carbonated kind, at least they did about a month ago.
Can anyone confirm if they still do? And if a certain expiration date is required, I haven't picked one up recently.

  7. Rory Durkin I've only been able to find it at Whole Foods here in SF. I think I recall it might be avalible a Walgreen's , I'm not certain of that tho.
