Edgar Allan Wright Has been prompting us recently to make connections between Nigel Moyer, Bletchley Park, ECHELON and Waratah. Well. Here we go:

Formed in 1919 as Government Code and Cypher School in the UK, now known as the Government Communications headquarters the organization was one of five involved in operating a covert intelligence-gathering network known as ECHELON out of Bletchley Park.
The five governments involved were the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Netherlands.
Part of the Echelon network consisted of a series of high sensitivity radio telescopes with the ability to monitor satellite transmissions and microwave links. One purpose this network was to spy on military and diplomatic intelligence.
We know from the signals discovered at the Arecibo observatory in the 1990’s that radio telescope networks are capable of detecting XM signals. The advanced network present in the ECHELON project, predating Arecibo, would theoretically be capable of isolating these same signals.
As mentioned during chats with Edgar Allan Wright, Nigel Moyer (father of the Ingress Report’s Susannah Moyer) is connected to Bletchley Park and the ECHELON network. Based on his age at the time, stated by Dr. Wright as “unusually young for the project” and knowing that the OSS was active in recruiting savants for intelligence analysts, it is likely that Nigel Moyer is one such gifted individual. If we assume that his gifts extended to XM sensitivity he may have been responsible for one of the earlier identifications of the XM dial tone in the ECHELON network.
If a signal of unknown origins was picked up in covert multinational intelligence gathering efforts it is reasonable to believe that an investigation would have commenced. One of the sites capable of conducting this research, out of the eye of the Soviet Union, but within the ECHELON project would have been in Australia. At the Australia Telescope National Facility operated by CSIRO out of Canberra, New South Wales. This investigation might have been called the Waratah Symposium, named after the SS Waratah (like many covert projects), which is itself named after the National flower of New South Wales. Waratah’s connection to ECHELON and global intelligence would have enabled classified investigation into the nature of the dialtone signal. One, then junior, member of this project is known to be (now Dr.) Ezekiel Calvin, alongside Dr. Edgar Allen Wright. This set of circumstances would explain Calvin’s lack of surprise when the dial tone is rediscovered at the Niantic Project.
Around the same time reports via OSS reveal documents that mention a Dr. Andressen and an investigation into Torsion fields as well as a related audio track that refers to parallel, XM-like experiments conducted in Russia.
With most of the research being conducted out of the view of prying eyes at Waratah in Australia, the Soviet Union would likely have been unaware to exactly how much progress had ben made. While ECHELON intelligence would have enabled the Symposium to begin investigation into torsion fields, which, while rejected as pseudoscience by the OSS could have been recognized as linked by the Waratah researchers. However, this broadening of focus beyond the dial tone signal may have necessitated a restructuring of the investigation under the name Project Whydah and incorporation of other related projects under the umbrella of the New Science Committee and the Office of Nondemarcated Scientific and Historical Inquiries.

ReplyDeleteAlso note that the existence of parallel Russian investigations would make the existence of research that Visur is piggybacking onto plausible.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible that such Russian experiments are the basis of Devra Bogdanovich's research that she disavowed? Were such protocols in place before her arrival, and thus why Pevtsov was so quick to grant her whatever she needed?
The state of Chinese historical investigation into XM seems unknown. Given the Sino/Soviet split, such intelligence related research would not have been shared with the USSR, although it is altogether possible that elements of exchange existed beforehand. Still, the state of China with regard to the Chinese Civil War and the conflict with the KMT would have made such top secret work more difficult- although who knows what you can do out in the middle of the Taklamakan.
That said, the Chinese Academy of Sciences was directly modeled on the work of Sergei Vavilov and there was a great deal of scientific exchange. This makes such research potentially more possible than the above would indicate.
Curious, does the Russian experience Yuri memtioned fit in here, and Devra has the one colleague she called on with some link/experience to the KGB
ReplyDeletePevtsov is a Russian oligarch/mobster. Selling off state enterprises to well connected insiders was a big part of recent history. Visur may well be composed in part of the former Russian state XM research apparatus plus his own IT resources and media empire.

ReplyDeleteThis is reminding me of some of the stories Paul Schatzkin collected surrounding T. T. Brown near the end of WWII. Brown was involved with TICOM in the collection of German encryption technology and other knowledge when the Third Reich collapsed, as well as work on discerning the nature of forces and perturbations found to be operating outside of the electromagnetic domain.
