    Faces like this go all the way back into antiquity, to some of the earliest portrayals of gods and they go up to current thought with the face created by merging the Resistance and Enlightened symbols.

    I actually meant as I've laid it out... upside down... a single face (mask?) with big flat teeth, wide spaced eyes, prominent brow ridges...

    Well it would certainly fit, a dead deity that's a mix of human, octopus and dragon shape that waits dreaming (in his House in R'lyeh)
    Is N'zeer just another of it's names and are we going to wake it up?
