Similarities. This is much more geometric. While that looked like some kind of mask, this one looks like a skull viewed through the lens of Ingress's hexagonal obsession.

Also that big "X" right in the middle that forms the eyes or nose makes me think of Verity.
ReplyDeleteAdam Gilmore assuming the two top parts don't connect, it is also reminiscent of a wolf or some other canine. I like the locomotive idea too. It looks a lot like the transformers symbols for autobots and decepticons morphed together. Maybe its meant to speak to a machine synthesis, like ADA is planning. But here is a fact: that would make one badass patch.

Has anyone tried breaking the symbol down? It looks a lot like a Recursion R if it was condensed and pushed together with a mirrored R.

ReplyDeletePossibly a reference to the Crystal Skulls? I always wondered if they'd be involved in the Ingress existence and XM research. They've always been dubbed as methods of data storage, so perhaps they transmit ordered data through XM.
