As above so below.

As above so below. so every single symbols has their partners except the center. 1 and 12 are not on the glyph table but they must be hidden because the ingress avatars are implying us the existence. then there're 13 symbols like 13 archetypes. this is very interesting mutual point for me. I'll introduce the alchemical symbols and their meanings. what do you think?

1. Sulfur: soul, protons and liquid.
2. Mercury: spirit, neutrons and gas.
3. Salt: body, electrons and solid.
4. Silver: memory, subconscious, emotions, stomach, breasts, womb, bodily fluids and the left side of a person.
5. Tin: moral, philosophy, abstract mind, arteries, hips, thighs, feet and liver.
6. Gold: vitality, authority, individuality, heart, back, spinal cord, and the right side of a person.
7. Lead: discipline, responsibility, bones, joints, knees, skin and teeth.
8. Copper: beauty, love, neck, kidneys, ovaries and veins.
9. Iron: desire, energy, drive. head, muscles and sex organs.
10. unknown but its partner is Mercury.
11. unknown but its partner is Salt.
12. unknown but its partner is Sulfur.
13. unknown and it has no partner.

I studied symbols meaning at this FMA's fan site.

  1. In traditional European alchemy, mercury is liquid, fleeting, unstable. Lead is base impurity. Silver is something like awareness. Gold is enlightenment. Sulfur and salt are related to earth and death ( resurrection).

  2. Interesting. Thanks. Yeah indeed mercury is liquid and sulphur is solid on normal temperature so I thought something is weird.

  3. I was looking at symbol 13 again and it occurred to me that there is another symbol there which I can't find at the moment. There's a Christian cross that looks like the letter P with an X under it. Like the X, Y and Z axes in geometry. That is taken from an older ( I believe) symbol which is just an X, Y, Z intersection. It's name is something about 7. Can't remember, but the arms are up, down, left, right, forward and back, or the 6 directions. and the center. The center is Unity, enlightenment and in some interpretations a god or the God.

  4. hmm that is very interesting. as you said, this circle looks like X, Y and Z axes. then 3 symbols(1, 2, and 3) might represent view points on each axes. and "As above so below", when you look into an object along an axis, the object itself also look into you. the world is like a mirror. it reflect our mind correctly.

  5. Also, the elements in your chart should relate to each other based on their axis, but the the whole point is transmutation of one essence into another. So the outer geometry.

  6. Yes! That is it! "As above so below" and "All is One, One is All" are correctly described in the circle.
