Considering the mention of her working on rejuvenation projects, how old is Akira? Has she been around a lot longer than it might seem? Could she even have been working on the OSS and earlier projects? And could she have hooked up with Visur Technology and Ilya?

ReplyDeletethanks Achim S. - so you feel Akira is going more along the lines of ADA and digital prolonging of life versus a more physical method AKA Simulacra?

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely JoJo Stratton! When i see her in my scanner I always ask me one question:"Being a simulacra losing every 1331 days your memory, is it possible to upload your mind and soul to the portal network? Would be nice to have always a backup..."
ReplyDeleteAchim S. well - that is where the tinkering comes in - and I suspect what Calvin was working on - can you somehow counter that 1331/memory trigger - either by prolonging the 1331 or having a way to reclaim memories - so those would, IMO, be areas for the Biological/physical XM prolonging. The digital prolonging is more how do you interact with the "physical world" and how do you not have resolution lose (like with a JPG - everytime you copy it - you lose pixels and over time the file corrupts or degrades
ReplyDeleteQuite interesting the two types of issues each "camp" would need to overcome to make a "perfect" method.... Almost like the two camps we have now (aka magnus and antimagnus ;)
