At the end of the Ingress Burst Report (https://youtu.be/On3pAMsfE3U) Oliver Lynton-Wolfe sent a metaphoric message: "There's no going back, agents!"
This reminds me of some words Roland Jarvis told once: "Knowledge is a one way path. There is no going back."
Stein Lightman concreted this: "As you encounter new players teach them usage of the glyphs. From Glyphs comes knowledge. From knowledge comes wisdom. From wisdom comes survival."

Dont think he has really find the true knowledge. This words sounds too much like a zealoth speech.

ReplyDeleteMe too. Some time ago i've read somewhere the Techtulhu is just like a light that flows trought he glass the "controller" is. Suppose this mania was/is our common problem
ReplyDeleteThere's a fine line between genius and insanity. In my eyes OLW had erased this line and crossed the bridge.

ReplyDeleteAs stated before before I suppose dealing with the Tecthulhu has also a feedback to the User - and OLW was already instable.

OLW might just be .. misguided .. sounds a bit like a fanatic too ... but whaT if that "there is no going back" quote is just that.. his belief that progress requires forgetting the past completely going into the future??? not that i agree with what everyone else is saying either... since we can't change the past but we should remember it and learn from it going into now..
