Especially since the abaddon shards are rumored to come together in a shape similar to a head. Very interesting. But yes, it also brings to mind Dr Wright's sharded memory.
Reminds me of classical Greek and Roman coins somehow, though they used to depict potentates and gods rather than thinkers. Using those is an much more modern trend, as one can see on more recent bank notes.
I also see it connected to mind hack, as Edgar Allan Wright has mentioned several times that he was using Essex to reconstruc his own fractured memories, so I think that it's going to be pieces falling in place Thomas Arteaga
Ha does remind me of Edgar Allan Wright's profile pic. Perhaps it's a nod to our abilities to wrap our heads around a conspiracy that some say is so fractured, and continually fit the pieces together.
It looks like a mind being blown, but perhaps it is being put back together...
As he's been trying to recollect himself all this time.. it would make sense that the badge is a representation of someone that helped him gather the pieces together, in which case it could not be the pieces coming apart.
*Is Abaddon to be feared?* My argument is no. I'm interested in knowing the origin of the cited scripture. Or is it scripture? It looks like it may be another person's version of the scripture which comes across as... It feels evil and foreboding. I have 2 sources that paint a different picture. In biblical text the apostle John translated the Hebrew word Abaddon to Greek which is Apollyon. Apollyon means “Destroyer,” and is given as the name of “the angel of the abyss.” Though most reference works apply this name to some evil person or entity, the whole setting of the apocalyptic vision in Revelation is to the contrary. It consistently portrays angels being used by God to bring woe and destruction upon His enemies. Not the devil or his demons. Destruction is not always evil. The Interpreter’s Bible says: “Abaddon, however, is an angel not of Satan but of God, performing his work of destruction at God’s bidding.” It wasn't until the 19th century that the 'angel of the a...
Kalash of Cultures - Pakistan: http://youtu.be/qEXnEfdvv6s The argument: 1. Watch the video; this Dardic mountain tribe plays polo. They fiercely fought for their independence through the ages, till the British arrived; at which point they adopted some British customs like playing polo on weekends (although they claim they invented the game first). 2. The Kalasha have lived in geographic isolation for so long that their DNA has diverged. But, there are markers to suggest that they come from around the Mediterranean(that is, that they are Dardic). There are 2 theories as to how they got there: a. They were travellers along the silk route who decided to settle in a scenic location and sell spices, apricots and cherries (the latter two do not grow in the subcontinent, only in the Mediterranean; and with no contact with the outside world for centuries, there's no other way they could've gotten these fruits) b. They are descendants of Alexander the Great 's armies; who ref...
EDIT: I'll change this to the appropriate location if this doesn't belong here. SO, I'm curious to ask: Dr. Edgar Allan Wright revealed his thoughts that Amaziah might be a 'prime artifact hunter'. I want to know, can we think of any individuals either within this Investigation or within human history that could also be Hunters, either operating for the 13MAGNUS or Anti-MAGNUS?
Indeed! The shape of those pieces remind me of the way that shards manifest themselves in the portal network
ReplyDeleteIt is very reminiscent of Dr. Wright's profile picture. And reminds me, and a few others like Lou Kohn of the Abaddon shards. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI see an exploding/overloaded brain breaking its barriers down to expand
ReplyDeleteOr to dissolve from a fixed state...
Edit... Right EAWs profile picture looks similar
It's a symbol of EAW's fractured memory is all really.
ReplyDeleteI would also consider it "A representation of a mind expanding outside its boundaries for the sake of seeking and understanding the ultimate truth."
ReplyDeleteBut yes, it also reminds me of the supposed #Abaddon Shards.
Especially since the abaddon shards are rumored to come together in a shape similar to a head. Very interesting. But yes, it also brings to mind Dr Wright's sharded memory.
ReplyDeleteAre the pieces flying apart? Or are they falling in place?
ReplyDeleteThomas Arteaga very astute observation
ReplyDeleteNice, simple and clean.
ReplyDeleteA Shardhead?! ^^

ReplyDeleteInteresting also the red "glow" of the eyes.

ReplyDeleteOh look another badge thats not available in the southen hemisphere -1
ReplyDeleteDrew Morison yeah, well, none of the special ones are available outside of Europe, anyway. So we're destined to never be like the cool kids. 😑
ReplyDeleteI see a mind finally realizing itself and all the pieces coming into place.
ReplyDeleteDrew Morison from the sounds of it Nia selects someone for their contributions to Ingress and they get the medal.
ReplyDeleteLooks good. But a shame that it won't be available to much :/
ReplyDeleteFor me it's a clear reference to the shards
ReplyDeleteJust another piece of unobtanium to me.
ReplyDeleteIt look like enlightenment symbol.

A fundraising poster for mental illness awareness?
ReplyDeleteWill this badge be given to those who participate in the next Flash Shard Anomaly events?
ReplyDeleteGreat design
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of learning the truth and ones mind being blown
ReplyDeleteGreat design indeed!
ReplyDeleteI would give you a piece of my mind- but the badge is already trying to do that 😼
ReplyDeleteAs he's been trying to recollect himself all this time.. it would make sense that the badge is a representation of someone that helped him gather the pieces together, in which case it could not be the pieces coming apart.
ReplyDeleteWell for what I can say about this badge, it's a nice one! 😎
