Natural cosmic rays, which are mostly photons as well, have been detected with at least 20 million times more energy than the photons at the LHC. And that's just the ones we got lucky enough to catch with tiny little detectors. So how much energy they could max out at is anyone's guess.
But if photons slamming into photons with 20 million times the energy of the LHC hasn't ended things, I doubt our little toy will either.
