This picture bugs me.

This picture bugs me.

H. Richard Loeb posted it in his missive about looking everywhere for A Detection Algorithm. It sort of looks like the "Digital Iris" (some called it "cat butt") but it isn't the same. So I decided to have a closer look. I wonder what the solid line that perfectly bisects the image is about, but what really caught my eye was something that looked like a glyph sequence.

Now maybe it is there, maybe not. So without revealing what I think I see in it I'll ask if anyone else can find glyphs in this image

  1. I definitely agree with that I see at least shapers and Enlightenment but the rest to me is distorted

  2. I can't help but think that this was like the girl who can't find her Wayfarers because they are on top of her head. That there is a clue (not Klue S.) in this image.

I saw glyphs for truth and civilization.

  3. Perhaps the Shapers and Nzeer occupy the same space/time ??, I wonder if ADA has planted herself directly on the center line that divides/separates them in order analyze each side's agenda for humanity?

  4. Mr Sean Parde interesting ...

I have caught myself wondering more than once if the Shapers and N'Zeer are not two sides of the same coin.

  5. Sarah Rosen The line seems to imply the clear part of the clear all glyph. It's as if H. Richard Loeb is saying "The code that is ADA has been wiped clear."

  6. J.J. Ramirez you may be right and it might be a goose chase trying to find any more clues in it, but it does deserve a second look.

  7. I see either Truth or Harmony turned on it's side in the bottom center

  8. a) what if the line down the middle serves as an axis and the image needs to be flipped (mirrored)? b) what if we divide the circle in 4 parts/glyph sequences c) glyphs that don't exist yet & glyphs impossible with the current scanner? d) there's lots of "W"s in there e) bottom left: pursue (?), intelligent (?), path, barrier, rebel (?).

  9. Indiana Stef I tried rotatimg a copy by 90, 180 and 270 degrees. The line is offset so the symmetry is broken. The lines dont stack

  10. It makes one think of an old TV where when you pull the power, the scanning beam ceases to scan the phosphor and the picture dwindles to a line, then a point. But that is usually horizontal.

  11. Sarah Rosen Typhoon Jim what if we try a) to recalibrate that center line or b) pretend it's not there. Maybe it just means there are 2 lines of glyphs? There appear to be glyphs along the border, it's just hard to make out. I was wondering if there were any able photoshop users about 😜
