Kalash of Cultures - Pakistan: http://youtu.be/qEXnEfdvv6s The argument: 1. Watch the video; this Dardic mountain tribe plays polo. They fiercely fought for their independence through the ages, till the British arrived; at which point they adopted some British customs like playing polo on weekends (although they claim they invented the game first). 2. The Kalasha have lived in geographic isolation for so long that their DNA has diverged. But, there are markers to suggest that they come from around the Mediterranean(that is, that they are Dardic). There are 2 theories as to how they got there: a. They were travellers along the silk route who decided to settle in a scenic location and sell spices, apricots and cherries (the latter two do not grow in the subcontinent, only in the Mediterranean; and with no contact with the outside world for centuries, there's no other way they could've gotten these fruits) b. They are descendants of Alexander the Great 's armies; who ref...
How many decades have we known that certain phenomena could not be explained in just 3 spatial dimensions and 1 time dimension? Both string theory and m theory depend on many more dimensions. Sub atomic particles and certain waves seem to commonly use these other dimensions. It is known that thought triggers electrical activity in the brain. There are even studies that map where in the brain specific responses occur. So if electricity travels in wave form, why couldn't brain based "psychic" phenomena be explained by using the extra dimensions? All of which leads back to my supposition that xm is derived from transmitted thought. (yes I know, over simplified, with steps left out.)
ReplyDeletesorry im just new here may i know what is xm?
ReplyDeleteExotic Matter. Ingress term for the little white points in the scanner. They seem to be generated by portals. Niantic and associates have found ways to convert xm into the gear we obtain when we hack portals. Our scanners also capture some of it to utilize. It is also what a large part of the back story is based on.
ReplyDeleteMy personal supposition that it derived from transmitted thought is based on several things. The first portals were at Libraries, Post Offices, Fire Stations, and Historical Markers. All of these either store or transmit thoughts in the form of books, letters, or documents set in brass. Fire stations involve thoughts that are quickly and intensely transmitted that lives may be saved. Additional xm could be found at phone stores, along roadways, and in neighborhoods. (Roadways have signs, and drivers are thinking and affecting the drivers around them)
Statues and monuments seek to embody a thought and transmit it to the observer.
