Today is September 2nd, 2014. One year ago today a document surfaced on the Niantic Project Investigator Board.

It was another comic book page made by Tycho C., showing us another glimpse into the events of Epiphany Night and the escape of Roland Jarvis and Devra Bogdanovich.

Time.

A commentator a few days ago raised the idea that when someone like Tycho's vision is enhanced by Exotic Matter, they not only see the future, but they see the right future from among the myriad possiblities.

It led me back to my concern for Carrie, who may have sacrificed herself trying desperately to create a future for us where the civilization you and I thrive in could be given permission to continue to grow.

With no word from Carrie Campbell, and no new information except what appears to have been the possible suicide of a female covered in ink, if Carrie did indeed manage to find the truth she was seeking, we may never get it from her first hand.

We may have to rely on those who can see visions of distant places and times, people like Tycho, to open a window for us into that moment.

It remains to be seen if that future will snap into existence.

The thought of the destruct code and the answer code let me to wonder about the function of the Glyphs. I am interested to learn what you may have uncovered from your experience with them, and your work in the field with the Ingress Scanner Technology. What are the functions of Glyphs and how do they work in relation to XM? Why might the Shapers fear the human use of glyphs so much so that shortly after our discovery of them, a self-destruct code emerged from the Portals...

so, general question... we know that ADA passed the "turing test", we also have many studies showing how the turing test can actually be gamed by very complex programming and in fact you can write programs to create the allusion of AI for many (the chinese room thought experiment).  At what point are we certain that she began acting on her own and has not been following a program and orders by someone else.  Are we certain that those orders that she delivered for Jarvis and others and even the Katalena pre Zurich encounters, were not done on the orders of some programming.  NOt to call ADA a gun, but how certain are we she is not?  How can we prove, beyond doubt, that she is truly a separate entity working on her own and not some other programming? I would like to call for the evidence and proof that ADA is a complete entity. I am beginning to catalogue a list of Transdimensional Objects which appear to be inert artifacts, but, in fact, have actual technological capabilities when exposed to XM or present in a Nest.  Let us start with  the Shōnin Stone (which I believe to be broken at this point).  We know that it functions as something analogous to part of a circuit board or a key, depending on how you perceive it.  There is also Azmati's Dagger (or is it Alexander the Greats, I can't remember) that was used to test for simulacra. My feeling is that there are more such objects.  I am trying to catalogue them.   And as a thought experiment, what other objects must there be that have not yet been found?
