What Devra Bogdanovich is doing threatens the very core of your businesses it would seem. Yet you are all strangely quiet. Are you in fact behind this? Is the constant escalation of global MU counts allowing you to conduct secret research and development? I cannot think of another reason why none of you have said anything at all about her threats to the portal network and XM.

    I'm starting to suspect that the real deal here is us, that is, the millions of agents. I think they're engaging in increasingly frustrating changes to try to get rid of some of us. They only want a certain kind of... suggestible agent, one who will act without question and do whatever they're told. The military uses this kind of conditioning, of course (a soldier who cannot or will not obey orders is a liability to their unit). I'm starting to suspect they're weeding out the ones who question. Are the conditioning super soldiers? Or worse...

    Bonni Hall or perhaps there are internal issues at all three XM development companies. Be it moral ethical or political tying them up from any visible actions. As there are rifts out here, the same battles must be ensuing within their ranks.

    James Thirteen Seriously? Everything out my way is grey. There is no extra attention being paid. This is the case in rural and semi-rural areas around the world. Your deduction makes sense only in certain circumstances. It seems much more likely that they're cultivating super agents who will give up all their available time and energy to the cause. I can think of plenty of ways having an army of agents of that sort would benefit the corporations.

    James Thirteen They most certainly ARE deliberately trying to get rid of the agents who won't do as they're told. Nothing anyone says will convince me that they are not. They want to weed out the ones who won't step in line. The ones who remain will be those too enmeshed in the XM to do anything but what they're told.

    James Thirteen One step ahead of you on that. No play, all grey. Which, of course, is what they want. They want me and those like me gone. Too many opinions, too much defiance, not willing to do what I'm told. Just the sort they're working to eradicate.

so, general question... we know that ADA passed the "turing test", we also have many studies showing how the turing test can actually be gamed by very complex programming and in fact you can write programs to create the allusion of AI for many (the chinese room thought experiment).  At what point are we certain that she began acting on her own and has not been following a program and orders by someone else.  Are we certain that those orders that she delivered for Jarvis and others and even the Katalena pre Zurich encounters, were not done on the orders of some programming.  NOt to call ADA a gun, but how certain are we she is not?  How can we prove, beyond doubt, that she is truly a separate entity working on her own and not some other programming? I would like to call for the evidence and proof that ADA is a complete entity. I am beginning to catalogue a list of Transdimensional Objects which appear to be inert artifacts, but, in fact, have actual technological capabilities when exposed to XM or present in a Nest.  Let us start with  the Shōnin Stone (which I believe to be broken at this point).  We know that it functions as something analogous to part of a circuit board or a key, depending on how you perceive it.  There is also Azmati's Dagger (or is it Alexander the Greats, I can't remember) that was used to test for simulacra. My feeling is that there are more such objects.  I am trying to catalogue them.   And as a thought experiment, what other objects must there be that have not yet been found?
