Part one is up! Hope you guys enjoy it and sorry about the extreme lack of updates...I've been working on numerous other projects and I promise I won't leave Essex members out of the loop anymore!

Niantic History updates will resume next week, I promise. Hold me to that promise-I know I will.

    PAC says he is Resistance, and states why.    Most the Resistance I've seen post prefer his viewpoint to the one that seems to be expressed by ADA.   Are they fundamentally different?  If so, why are the Resistance that agree with him not rallying under his banner, even if he is in hiding?
    It seems to me that some of the story line got buried under the  contention between the  apparent leaders Jarvis and ADA.

    Yes, PAC and ADA's viewpoints are seriously different....if Chapeau returns, what will he do when he sees how his ideology was treated? And will he deal with ADA?

    I would also love to know where PAC is right now, because last time we knew of him, he was with Klada and they seem to be engaged on some kind of relation.

so, general question.

so, general question... we know that ADA passed the "turing test", we also have many studies showing how the turing test can actually be gamed by very complex programming and in fact you can write programs to create the allusion of AI for many (the chinese room thought experiment).  At what point are we certain that she began acting on her own and has not been following a program and orders by someone else.  Are we certain that those orders that she delivered for Jarvis and others and even the Katalena pre Zurich encounters, were not done on the orders of some programming.  NOt to call ADA a gun, but how certain are we she is not?  How can we prove, beyond doubt, that she is truly a separate entity working on her own and not some other programming? I would like to call for the evidence and proof that ADA is a complete entity. I am beginning to catalogue a list of Transdimensional Objects which appear to be inert artifacts, but, in fact, have actual technological capabilities when exposed to XM or present in a Nest.  Let us start with  the Shōnin Stone (which I believe to be broken at this point).  We know that it functions as something analogous to part of a circuit board or a key, depending on how you perceive it.  There is also Azmati's Dagger (or is it Alexander the Greats, I can't remember) that was used to test for simulacra. My feeling is that there are more such objects.  I am trying to catalogue them.   And as a thought experiment, what other objects must there be that have not yet been found?
