OK, this is random, but is it me or does this person look like Hank Johnson?  And do those windows in the background look kind of Japanese?  Might hank have been somewhere near Ishinomaki at some point?

    With the fact that he is a simulacrum could there be more than one Hank Johnson?  A failed attempt to cheat his own recursion perhaps?

    This may be weird idea- but we know XM can jigger people's timeline, and cause weird noncausal stuff to happen. (e.g.Hubert Farlowe, the Cross Plains anomaly, etc.) XM is basically a extra-dimensional substrate that treats time less like a line and more like a wibbly wobbly timey-wimey....thing. So, what if that's garbled data from a version of the Ishiomaki anomaly? One where Klue successfully, at least partially, digitized Hank?

I am beginning to catalogue a list of Transdimensional Objects which appear to be inert artifacts, but, in fact, have actual technological capabilities when exposed to XM or present in a Nest.  Let us start with  the Shōnin Stone (which I believe to be broken at this point).  We know that it functions as something analogous to part of a circuit board or a key, depending on how you perceive it.  There is also Azmati's Dagger (or is it Alexander the Greats, I can't remember) that was used to test for simulacra. My feeling is that there are more such objects.  I am trying to catalogue them.   And as a thought experiment, what other objects must there be that have not yet been found?
