The important thing about these glitches is that they are repeated. If Niantic wanted them to be random noise, it would be random.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, the code you mentioned is not a QR code, it is a) too small and b) missing the QR alignment patterns. I will try to superimpose some of these in an attempt to make the codes clearer.
I have seen a similar code before, I think, but I can't remember where.

Huw Evans the code he annotated as a hacker code is just a squished and reversed pass code. The pass code is Fully Redeemed (FR).

ReplyDeleteThe only thing I don't really understand is, considering this wasn't filmed live, why didn't the production team report any information as to Hank? Are they trying to cover up the fact that Hank has gone missing and they just don't want to scare anyone, or did something happen to them too?
Anyway, looking at the codes properly now that I'm back home.
Those "qr code" images look as if the lines are scrambled. The qr code might look clearer when the lines are reordered and the rest might make sense too.
