I didn't have time to read the 47 pages but from what i can gather from the sitrep they are dealing with a pathogen that may exhibit previously unseen characteristics.
ReplyDelete1. Evidence of skin damage suggestive of thermal or radiation injury.
This may just be due to exposure to radiation, the likely source being the body. Then it raises the question if the radiation in question was XM/ Dark XM. The damaged skin may have been the portal of entry to the biological agent.
2. Tissue degeneration described as necrotizing fasciitis
Necrotizing fasciitis is a well established bacterial infection that spreads rapidly through the fascial planes in the body leading to massive tissue destruction. The usual causes are Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus and some anaerobes. I find it quite interesting that they used this term here as it can be just a secondary infection or something more sinister.
3.Geometric shapes of epidermal patterning that resemble tattoos
Carrie Campbell came to my mind. Could these be glyphs? if so did Carrie also suffer from a similar illness?
As things stand there are a few possibilities that needs to be entertained.
1. There is some kind of an XM virus that is infecting people causing damage not only by cell invasion but also by high levels of radiation.
2.This may well be due to exposure of dark XM perhaps emitted by the body, and is therefor not contagious, unless the new bodies start emitting too.
3.perhaps both?

ReplyDeleteWhat if, and just go with me on here, what if what happened to Roland Jarvis when he was directly exposed to XM gave him the ability to immediately go through a changing process, an immediate evolution. But what if it can also be a designed strain, a virus that can slowly infect others and change their physical forms over time. The end result would be akin to the body of Roland Jarvis post-entity.
Perhaps we will go through stages of change until we too become similar to the Jarvis Entity, either falling into a coma/shut down state while existing in an XM concentrated form or perhaps be changed to become second stage Humans in a new branch of evolution.
If this could possibly be the case, then we are all going to be on the way soon enough..

Wait a second, I was just recently stationed at Robins. Now I'm stationed at Edwards (20 minutes south of Cal City).....I have to go...
ReplyDeleteOk, Robins has the following missions: JSTARS, 5Th Combat Comm, AF Depot. If a plane was looking to land away from everything there is an old 'alert pad' on the back side of the base (a cold war relic). From the alert pad there is a back road that leads almost straight to the base hospital. If anyone has further questions about Robins I was there a few years ago so I can assist.

ReplyDeleteLou Kohn Nikolas Moore both are correct but I am getting to the point of preferring "reset" as the proper term. from what I have gathered (correct me if wrong) the process occurs to quickly to be considered anything else. The relationship with the shards will need to be better understood to be able to properly quantify what is truly occurring. and I also second Linda Besh on the thank you
ReplyDeletechris meredith I only suggested "Quantum Mechanic" because from the autopsy report it sounds like the body of Roland Jarvis is tied into the "Observer Effect" in which when the body was being observed when performing the autopsy. However at a single point once the body was not being observed the state of the body returns to its original condition as if the autopsy was never performed.
ReplyDeleteIts entirely possible his body is locked in a quantum state. If not by this one there are plenty of other examples of other mechanics that can go into what we are dealing with here.
Lou Kohn I agree but reset woupd probably be better understood by people who dont have a great understanding of QM (like me)
